A landslide miraculously stopped just before almost crushing a historic 16th-century Italian church in northern Italy.

The Santuario di Gallivaggio church in the Valle Spluga narrowly escaped getting crushed by a humongous landslide, the Daily Mail reported. The 420-year-old church was built in 1598 located in the commune San Giacomo Filippo near the border of Switzerland, ABC News added.
