Today marks the ten year anniversary of the hit comedy “Superbad” being released.

Superbad might honestly be the greatest movie ever made. Is the best directed film? No. Is it the greatest acted? No. Is it the greatest cinematography? No. Does any of that matter? Absolutely not.

Superbad is about the dilemmas so many teenagers face, and it’s done a way that’s so funny, it’s never been replicated since. It’s also the most quotable movie ever made.

“That’s like slapping God across the face for giving you a beautiful gift,” is a line I repeat all the time, and I don’t want to be your friend if you don’t know what that sentence is in reference to.

Who could ever forget the other golden line, “You know when a girl’s like Oh God, I got so sh*tfaced last night. I shouldn’t have f*cked that guy!’ We can be that mistake!”

Just an absolute film for the ages about chasing girls, friendship and making absolutely horrible decisions.

I remember sneaking into a movie theater as a young kid to see the movie with a cousin of mine. I thought it was the funniest thing I’d ever seen, and my opinion hasn’t changed one bit since.

Also, that film launched the careers of Michael Cera, Seth Rogen, Emma Stone and Jonah Hill into superstardom. If you haven’t seen the film, I want you to drop whatever you’re doing, open up Netflix and watch it right now.
